PPC (pay-per-click)

Pay-per-click (PPC) is an advertising method where the advertiser has to pay every time someone clicks on their ads in order to direct traffic to their websites. 

How to pay for PPC ads? 

The process is a bid-based auction. In order to rank the ad on the search engine (Google, Bing etc.), the advertiser has to compete with other advertisers by setting a competitive target or maximum spend to pay for a given spot. The more competitive the offer is, the higher the ad will rank.
