Objectives

Test Rodd & Gunn, a quality New Zealand lifestyle brand, faced daunting hurdles when expanding into the UK and EU markets. 

With minimal brand awareness in these new regions, and strong competition from established fashion and lifestyle brands, Rodd & Gunn needed to communicate the brand's credentials, while driving revenue growth on a tight budget. To do this, they came to Genie Goals.

  • We developed a diverse and varied creative asset strategy featuring video content, static imagery, and carousel ads

  • We launched an Advantage+ Shopping campaign using Meta's AI targeting to identify users most likely to convert
  • For the EU market with lower brand awareness, we implemented a funnel-based approach, and we:

  • We built AI-guided Performance Max (PMax) campaigns We created a full set of optimised images, videos, ad copy, and shopping listings
  • We targeted specific audience segments during peak trading periods
  • We deployed Customer Match lists for improved audience signals and existing customer retargeting
  • We implemented seasonality bid adjustments and automated rules to manage daily spending
  • We optimised ad visibility during high-demand periods like the Black Friday weekend
